Workday Test Lead (Location - San Francisco)

Required Skills: For this specific role focus on Time off, time tracking and recruiting
This is a hybrid role where you would be spending time in configuring and coding test
automation for Workday HR business functions and integrations. You must have a solid
background in Workday and other HR applications with hands-on experience with workday
standards and methodologies. You will be responsible for development and testing through all
phases of the SDLC and should be well versed in full stack (backend & frontend)
implementation and testing. This individual will be expected to manually test and also convert
the functional tests into an automated system. This individual will be a primary contributor to the
test effort for our Workday offerings and should be well experienced with the QA process and
standards.
Responsibilities:
• Configure, build and test the Workday business process, and integrations.
• Deliver workday enhancements, bug fixes, data setup, define test regression and
acceptance criteria.
• Closely work with the internal workday support team, business users to understand the
business requirements including working with 3rd party integrators.
• Participate in product and feature design with developers, designers, product
managers, and business systems analysts
• Build test automation that is effective, scalable and maintainable using tools such as
Selenium or Kainos.
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews
• Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution
• Ensure product quality meets customer expectations and responsible for creating test
plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting
• Ability to be a team player and achieve results
• Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
Required Skills:
• 3+ years of hands-on configuring, coding and testing experience in Workday payroll
modules, business functions and integrations.
• 3+ years of functional testing experience in Workday modules including security and
3 party vendor integrations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in defining test plans, test cases, test execution, and
defect reporting for Workday or any HR based enterprise software applications.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant
experience
Desired Skills:
• Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform is a plus.
• Salesforce or Workday Certifications
• Experience delivering on-prem or SaaS-based applications.
• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure and tools.
