Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a SCM Team Lead (1st shift) located in Plymouth,MI.

Job Responsibilities: Work associated with obtaining goods and services for all types of business processes Finished goods demand inventory planning, production planning and controlling to achieve targeted quality, wastage and inventory levels Moving, storage and inventory controlling of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging materials Moving materials and finished goods from origin to destination Managing imports, exports and customs Freight forwarding services and maritime operations Managing all activities of dispatch and shipping or warehouse Appropriate distribution of tasks among the available workforce of Material Handlers based on the production plan Implementation of improvements and procedure updates related to the warehouse and dispatch processes Issuing the monthly reports and all information related to shipping issues Complaint process - label, packaging, transport Operational control of the allocation of storage space Information of team about daily targets, any current issues and quality alerts Performing effective hand-overs from one shift to the next Education and Experience:

High Diploma/ GED or equivalent Good technical knowledge of relevant production processes Working experience in the material handling process Additional training for managing people Technical knowledge of the processes in area of responsibility Experience in Microsoft Office and other software applications used in the responsible area Working knowledge of basic problem solving and continuous improvement tools Fork lift certification How we work together Our Culture - Our Values We deliberately associate the first two words of our vision with our culture.
