Configuration Specialist

ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a Configuration Manager to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC. Security Clearance: Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description: This labor category is intended to serve the configuration management functions for the program. Provides configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. Continuous improvement of configuration and Data Management processes and methods. Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments. Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving/escalating any compliance issues. Facilitates Configuration Management audits. Other duties as assigned by The Company. Experience Requirements: Seven (7) years of experience is required in the fielding of shipboard HM&E, electronic, communication and weapon systems including a practical background in the configuration of ship systems.
