As we continue to grow and deepen our impact on various Gleason operations around the world, we are looking for the right people to join us on our mission Job Functions / Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert associated with Product Costing, Controlling area, Cost center accounting, Profitability Analysis and Profit Center accounting, Budgeting, P&L, Consolidations; especially in a ETO/MTO manufacturing business Familiar with FI/CO Master Data, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), Budgeting, P&L Support corporate reporting schedules Management Financial Reporting, Support Month end and Year end activities Act as an internal consultant and design architect for a SAP FI/CO global solution. Partner with peers in the IT and Finance organization to determine business process and solution design, leveraging the capabilities of the SAP Finance and Controlling modules After any implementation, lead, and support project initiatives to expand the usage of the SAP solution to improve and expand FI/CO processes across the enterprise Support the identification of opportunities to standardize processes and system configuration globally, and ensure compliance across all implementations to these standards Analyze business/technical requirements and translate process into practice through the current SAP Finance and Controls functionality Develop, prototype, test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability, and functionality, to enable end users to meet business objectives Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices Understand the role and importance of new SAP technologies improving user experience i.e. Fiori and SAP Screen Personas Required Qualifications BS in Accounting required with strong cost accounting experience 5 years of combined business and configuration experience in the Finance and Control (FI/CO) modules including: (Must Have) Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, General Ledger (GL) (Nice to have) Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like SD, VC, MM, PS, PP, HR and CATS Well versed with all integration points between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules like SD, PS, MM and PP Experienced with all aspects of a SAP implementation, including business process analysis, blueprinting, system configuration, testing, documentation, end-user training, production support and country-specific requirement Experience in the configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO) Proven experience with delivering services in a remote environment with various key stakeholders and remote teams. Full life cycle project implementation and configuration experience Thorough understanding of the integration with other SAP modules including: Project Systems (PS), (MM) Materials Management, (PP) Production Planning, (SD) Sales and Distribution Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization Nice to Have: Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 6 required; S/4 HANA experience a plus Global experience a plus Discrete manufacturing experience a plus Using SAP PS a plus, especially with regards to WIP & RA ABAP debug experience a plus SAP security experience a plus Experience with LSMW The salary range in this posting depends on qualifications and experience.
