DevOps Practice Leader

The DevOps Practice Leader will strategize, plan and drive Agile and DevOps adoption across the unit. Must have strong knowledge of software development life cycle models and Agile and traditional project management principles. You will be responsible for defining, building, automating, integrating and operating all the tools needed for showing the path to a change, set being committed into the trunk on its way to the production environment.
You should have experience in building high performance engineering teams that will work with various IT teams for DevOps/Cloud migration. You'll develop and conduct live demonstrations, design and development of larger, multiproduct solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Identify the appropriate technologies to solve clients' problems
• Drive SOW development and administration
• Partner and collaborate to drive client assessments, strategies, metrics and pre-sales activities
• Manage a global technical team (onshore and offshore)
• Engage clients in issue resolution/ decisions and drive alternatives
• Contribute technically on projects by reviewing and approving project level architecture and designs for IT projects and creating these artifacts as needed on large/ complex initiatives
• Identify and implement tools/ services that can help the engineering team to produce better software/ services more efficiently
• Deeply analyze business processes and technologies to discover and refine client's needs
• Form relationships with the client's technical staff to identify new opportunities
• Leading the design and implementation of build, release and deployment of enterprise applications
Qualifications:
Must have:
• Must have led Agile/DevOps transformation efforts for a large
• Ability to drive a DevOps strategy with a customer
• Expert Agile and Scrum Concepts, Influencing skills, Strategic Planning
• Strong experience in using Jenkins/Jira/Stash/Ansible or similar technologies.
• Strong experience with architectural patterns, Cloud Native Design and Micro-services
• Expert with CI/CD, Cloud Development/Architecture, Public and Private Cloud Capabilities
• Knowledge of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience using OpenShift by Red Hat, Heroku, Google Compute Engine, Apprenda, Pivotal CF, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise application architecture and development skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
