Job Title: Database Developer (SQL SSIS)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Salary: $80,000 $95,000 + Benefits (Details Mention Below)
Job Description:
The
Database Developer, will serve as a ETL developer and data analyst , responsible for understanding business requirements, performing data analysis, design, build, test, and implement functionalities based on the business requirements. The candidate will work extensively with Data Conversion Team to populate the Target database and provide reports with metrics on data conversion throughout the Software development life cycle (SDLC) of a complex pension administration solution.
Responsibilities:
Interface with customer, gather requirements and create mapping documents. Has a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities. Expertise in developing ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (Data Extraction, Transformation, and loading from heterogeneous Sources to SQL Server target). Strong in T-SQL Scripting. Designing, Developing, Testing SQL queries. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Security and User administration. bility to analyse the data sources, identify the data issues and patterns before Data Migration. bility to learn and support new and existing applications. bility to work in a fast-paced work environment, manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work within a technical framework with evolving business requirements. Excellent technical troubleshooting and code debugging skills. Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal, written, and social skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Manage projects with minimal supervision. Proactively addresses actions and issues. Meet daily\weekly\monthly deadlines. Reporting Tools, ETL Tools experience a plus. Pension or Retirement domain experience a plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in SQL Server, SSIS (ETL Processing). Candidate should posess authorisation to work in USA.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Management, Business, or related field. Master's degree a plus.
