PositionSummary:
Acuren Inspection is now looking for API 653 Inspectors for callout work for various customers. As an API Inspector you will perform visual and nondestructive examination on stationary equipment in accordance with the API and ASME standards, provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.Responsibilities:Perform visual inspections on all work done.Perform/witness any MT/PT and witness Vacuum box testingWitness hold points and call for Customer QC to witnessEnsure Coatings are applied correctlyCompetencies:Technical report writing skillsStrong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and perform under pressureAbility to maintain positive working relations with client and co-workersMentoring skillsAbility to work extended hoursRequirements:Requirements:Certification to American Petroleum Institute Standard API API 653TWIC Card required
