ERP Analyst

The ERP Analyst role is responsible for ensuring that business requirements are properly addressed utilizing the existing ERP (Epicor P21) functionality whenever possible and should have an in depth understanding of its configuration and design. Responsible for learning the tools and development processes within the environment through training and on the job experiences. Responsible for assisting in analyzing and developing information processing solutions; self-motivated and driven toward timely project completion and overall satisfaction of the business users. Participates in and leads projects to implement, test and design ERP Systems and applications to ensure the system is meeting enterprise needs. Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitors progress for the ERP system. Develops functional specifications.ResponsibilitiesWork on ERP related projects including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, support, and other special projects.Educate internal and external users on ERP best practices.Work through and document internal business procedures and processes.Identify, design, and implement creative business solutions to continually improve Company's methodology and approach.Recommend suitable functional approaches for optimizations.Build a strong relationship with the users through the implementation, ensure the delivery of the project and solution is satisfactory to the business users.Document and deliver project status to the management on a regular basis - tasks, overall project status, issues, risksParticipate in the integration of companies on a common ERP platform:

Analyze and troubleshoot the ERP functional issues and manage communications with the vendor including the ability to handle escalated issues.Train and support other team members in implementing and supporting the end users.Actively participate in career development activities.QualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred; Must have HS Diploma or equivalentExperience supporting Epicor Prophet 21 Distribution software is preferred but not mandatoryExperience with data migration tasks and other functional activities of ERP1+ years of experience in Database tools - MS SQL Server, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc.Experience with data conversions, reporting, and customizations.Strong communicator - verbal and written.Ability to successfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience as well as foster credibility with more technical audiencesOrganizational skills to include the ability to self-manage assignments and manage work on multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.As the world's largest fluid power distributor, the Applied Fluid Power network of companies provide dedicated fluid power support and custom designed solutions that meet customer performance goals and keep industry running.
