Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities -
we have several contractors working in the cloud security group and they are implementing SSO/ OKTA and expanding their use of Azure Services
Work Experience:
Working with clients and supporting divisions within the organization to identify opportunities for integration patterns with OktaWorking with Information Security and Application Development teams to document best practices and decision criteria for moving applications from session and cookie-based authentication and authorization to OIDC and OAuth based authentication and authorizationLeverage ServiceNow ticketing procedures to support and resolve client inquiries, requests and problems related to the Okta platform and Azure/M365 servicesReview documented patterns with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment to enterprise standards
What Would Be Nice to Have:Okta /Azure Certifications (Professional, Administrator, Consultant, or Developer)Experience with DevOps and CI/CD implementationExperience syncing identities from Active Directory or other sources into a cloud-based universal directoryExperience with cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) IaaS and PaaS providersPrepare technical standards, provide technical advice and guidance, and collaborate with other programmers to conceptualize and develop design
Technical Skills:Qualifications Required:Bachelor's Degree in MIS related disciplineAt least 8 years' relevant experience in hands on integration of applications using modern protocols (i.e., SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM)Experience with IAM systems - ADFS, Okta, Azure AD, Active DirectoryUnderstanding of various authentication factors and risk-based authenticationUnderstanding of different access models RBAC, ABAC, GBACUnderstanding of LDAP queries, SQL and KQLExperience Managing Security and Authentication Policies in AzureExperience with Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD ConnectKnowledge of other authentication protocols - Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, Basic
