Job Title: Database Developer - Financial Data Management
Location:
Telecommute (4 days remote, 1 day in office) - Must reside within 35 miles of Philadelphia, PA (Tri-State area - PA, DE, NJ)

Summary:
Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking a skilled Database Developer with a strong background in data management and reporting, particularly in the financial services sector. This role will focus on maintaining SQL Server tasks related to data management for their clients' Data Repository and Data Warehouse. The ideal candidate should have a deep technical skill set, advanced knowledge of SQL Server applications, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain complex SSIS packages and SSRS reports for financial applications.Manage database object deployments and version control.Collaborate with DBAs to design, implement, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.Support application teams in database development, automation, and job scheduling.Ensure data integrity between different environments.Work closely with the development team to provide support for database objects and perform code reviews.Support the build and deployment processes, including packaging of database objects and documentation.Essential Qualifications:
Strong technical and analytical skills in designing and developing reporting and analytical processes for financial applications.An understanding of the financial services sector.Effective communication skills, both with technical peers and management.Advanced knowledge of SQL Server applications and related tools (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS). Experience with Snowflake is a must.Solid grasp of system architecture concepts and best practices.Bachelors Degree in computer/information sciences or equivalent.Required Skills/Competencies:
Desire to excel as a Database Developer.Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Database Developer/Programmer.Proficiency in data warehousing environments.Experience with SSRS, SSIS, and Snowflake.Good understanding of .NET technologies.Strong technical documentation skills.
