The Computer Network Engineering (Level II/III) role at TeamLogic IT of Stamford/Greenwich services small and medium sized business clients across a range of industries with all their information technology needs; including networking, security, data and email services, as well as hardware and software support in addition to a variety of consultation and preventative maintenance services previously only available to larger organizations. We offer more services than most computer companies and focus on preventing IT disasters through a holistic managed services partnership with our clients. Our Engineers are the face of our organization, delivering the support and service to our clients both on-site and via remote access.

The Computer Network requires both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication skills. You should enjoy building solutions that leverage technology to meet a client's business needs. The Computer Network works both independently- able to quickly assess new and complicated technology environments and deliver concrete solutions, and jointly with sales to provide pre- and post-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site visits, proposals and presentations, technical assessments, implementation and ongoing technical account management. A positive, service-oriented personality is absolutely critical.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver solutions leveraging a wide range of technologies to meet the demanding business needs of our clients.Design local area and wireless networking solutions.Implement and monitor network securityBuild and deploy physical and virtual server environments and cloud computing solutions.Perform network and infrastructure troubleshooting and optimization.Build and deploy VOIP and telephone solutions.Repair, install, maintain and support client's network, computers and peripherals.Manage clients' server infrastructure, including Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory and similar technologies.Provide business clients best-in-class technology advice in clear, business language.Required Skills and Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with previous IT Managed Services experience or extensive client facing experience.Minimum of three years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing networked computer environments, especially Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server and Active DirectorySkills on Windows Server (any version, but 2008, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 especially) required.Experience configuring and administering Virtualized environments using virtualization technologies like VMWare ESXI and Microsoft Hyper-V.Experience designing, building and trouble shooting networks including routing and switching with Cisco, SonicWall and Sophos experience a strong plus.Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools and PSA (Professional Services Automation) a plusAble to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication skills- a positive, supportive attitude is a must.Experience configuring and administering mixed environments with Windows, Mac OS and Linux a strong plus.Certification with Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft a strong plus.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
