Senior .NET DeveloperChicago, IL - Loop - Hybrid(12+ mo contract)Summary:
This role will play a key part of building new applications in Azure environment, in addition to add new features to our existing applications.
What you'll be doing:Analyze, design, configure, develop and implement intermediate-level solutions to meet business needs and objectives.Develop new applications and new application functionality for both internal and externally used applicationsAssist with the migration of applications from on-prem to the cloudWork with business stakeholders to prepare project proposals and develop project plansWork, as directed, with business owners, other IT teams, and vendors to create integrations both to/from vendors.Provide Level 3 support. Investigates operational or systematic problems and provides resolution using intermediate analytical skills and tools as necessary.Maintain up-to-date awareness of current and future directions of business industry and associated technologies.Investigate and document present procedures as liaison with user departments.May develop and maintain application security, design and documentation according to legal compliance requirements.Skills we're seeking:
5+ years with .NET DevelopmentBack-end stack: .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Azure SQL, MVC, Docker2+ years of experience with Front-End DevelopmentFront-end stack: React or Angular depending on the applicationMust have at least some Azure-native development experienceUS Citizenship, or Green Card statusNice to have experience: (in order of most to least important)
Experience migrating on-prem .NET applications to AzureExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience with DockerExperience with KubernetesExperience with TerraformExperience working with business stakeholders to gather requirementsBachelor's Degree, ideally in Computer Science or an IT related field
