The Mixed Reality display calibration team develops and deploys software for display calibration of Mixed Reality devices. We are looking for a talented software engineer who is passionate about device display image quality and software development for display calibration. Responsibilities: Design and develop algorithms and production software for the Mixed Reality display calibration in order to deliver spec display image quality and user experiences Collaborate with both internal and external partners to deploy the display calibration for Mixed Reality device production Analyze device production failures from display calibration software perspective, and provide fast fixes and feedback to our team and partner teams Review and provide feedbacks on incoming display driver and firmware code changes with calibration focus Provide documentation/wiki on developed software and troubleshooting tips This is an in-person role, onsite in office and lab, and up to 20% of travel to production factory Required Qualifications: BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision or related fields OR equivalent experience. 5 years of professional experience in software development, strong programming skills, C++ and Matlab required, C# and Python desirable Experience in electronic color display, display metrology, and image processing Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communications skills, team player Experiences in embedded systems, AR/VR devices, light measurement instruments, camera optics, robot and stage motion control, SLAM and common communication protocols Experience in device manufacturing Experience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio
