About the Opportunity

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is looking for a highly capable Senior Saleforce Developer. The Senior Salesforce Developer is a member of our Enterprise Platforms and report to the IT Solutions Delivery Manager, Digital function and helps ensure that the Bank maximizes the capabilities of our Salesforce CRM platform.

The Salesforce Developer's role is to work with business partners to realize the comprehensive capabilities of the CRM to deliver best in class customer experiences. This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, organizational units, and product owners to identify, develop and deploy new business processes. You will possess the drive to mature into an Architectural role.

The primary desired work location for this position is Richmond, VA. The Bank does provide some work from home flexibility for 5th District locations (Virginia, Maryland, Carolinas).

What You Will Do:

Build customer-centric Salesforce applications and products with a highly interactive UI using LWC, Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, CSS and Angular and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs.

Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, triggers etc., across all platforms.

Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users.

Collaborate in efforts to develop and execute test plans, training, use cases, documentation, and test data.

Facilitate design and follow all standard operating procedures for events, incidents, requests, changes, and problems.

Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for bug fixes, and enhancements.

Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk for advanced issue resolution

Ensure service level availability of the Force.com platform and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues.

Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree specializing in computer science, project management, business administration, or information technology or equivalent work experience.

Salesforce ADM211, Platform Developer 1 certification required.

Hands on experience with Lightning Web Component, Lightning Design System, Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, JavaScript, CSS, MuleSoft, or other middleware tools.

Combination of 5+ years Salesforce.com administrator and development experience, including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of API’s and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com.

Apex, LWC, FLOWS, Visualforce development, JavaScript, CSS, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Sponsorship is not available for this role. The selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility for this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship or three or more years of Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.

The hiring range is annually $101,000- $138,930.

Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
