Job Summary:
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer Contractor (Corp-to-Corp / 1099 / contract-to-hire) for a 23-month project. You'll need to be exceptionally skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track software defects. You'll be developing and maintaining automated test suites to increase testing efficiency and coverage, troubleshooting and resolving issues, while identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to improve the QA process at Company!
What You'll Do:
Develop a deep understanding of how our systems and components work to ensure development has all of the information needed to fix any issues.Create detailed test plans based off of technical designs and product requirementsExecute test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases, including onsite testing of hardware devices, software and custom Android-based devicesWork closely with development to integrate automated tests into our CI pipelineExecute releases on a consistent release schedule and monitor changes in our systems through metrics and logs.Continuously learn and develop your skills while contributing to the growth of your colleagues.What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in Quality AssuranceExperience working in a highly matrixed organizationExperience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similarKnowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similarStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesReal attention to detail and a genuine passion for qualityNice-to-have, but not required:
Experience with hardware, robotics and IoT is big plusExperience with Xray test management tool is a plusExperience in testing ML/AI applications would be cool tooWhy You'll Love Working Here:
