Dynamic Work schedule
- This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( Candidate can fly/drive into the office as well).
Must Have:
5+ years Oracle 19c - currentDatabase performance tuning (SQL tuning)Some exposure to cloud migration (AWS)-highly desirableThe Expertise and Skills You Bring
BS in Computer Science or equivalent desirablebility to perform applications database administration (Oracle) services including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, development support & EngineeringExperience in setting up, installing and managing multisite databases using Oracle Goldengate replicationExperience with cloud databases platforms on Linux environmentsbility to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workaroundsProvide database support in all phases of SDLC and agile experience is preferredParticipate in 24X7 on call rotation schedule for various production support, database maintenance, housekeeping and installsWork with enterprise teams for Systems Administrators, Cyber Security and Capacity Planning groups as and when situation demandsStrong time leadership skills with willingness and ability to prioritize multiple projects/initiatives at the same timeSelf-motivated with strong team, interpersonal and communication skillsEstablish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations and onboarding new applications and/or clientsdvanced skills in SQL Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control (OEM 12c), Linux shell scripting, and writing database monitoring jobs in PL/SQLStrong Linux shell scripting experience preferredbility to work well in a team environment, as well as maintaining a flexible attitude are a mustbility to develop and drive database administration strategies and initiatives as per the needs of the team
