We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Epic Cadence Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the configuration, testing, and optimization of the Epic Cadence module, which is integral to scheduling patient appointments and managing appointment-related workflows. The successful candidate will collaborate with scheduling staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of the Cadence system to streamline scheduling operations and enhance patient access to care. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with scheduling staff and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Epic Cadence module implementations, enhancements, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Participate in the configuration, testing, and implementation of Cadence system changes, including appointment scheduling workflows, patient registration processes, and appointment reminders, to support efficient and effective scheduling operations. Provide end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and conducting training sessions as needed to ensure efficient and effective use of the Cadence system by scheduling personnel, fostering user adoption and proficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality, usability, and performance, leveraging best practices and industry standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including system configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials, to support effective system utilization and knowledge transfer across the organization. Stay current with industry trends and developments in healthcare scheduling operations, patient access initiatives, and healthcare information technology to inform system optimizations and enhancements, contributing to the organization's strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. 3 years of experience working in healthcare scheduling operations or healthcare information systems, with a strong understanding of scheduling processes and workflows. Familiarity with scheduling systems, preferably Epic Cadence or similar EHR platforms, is preferred but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, effectively addressing operational challenges and improving workflow efficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including scheduling coordinators, administrators, IT professionals, and external vendors. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency in system configuration and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, adapting to changing priorities and effectively managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
