Solvere Technical has an immediate need for a Scrum Master based in San Diego County CA.

This position should have full time employment until September 2024 or later.

Job Description

At Solvere Technical, we are looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our software development team.. Put simply, you'll be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Ultimately, you'll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.

Responsibilities

Manage each project's scope and timelineCoordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-upsCoach team members in Agile frameworksFacilitate internal communication and effective collaborationBe the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requestsResolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occurHelp teams implement changes effectivelyEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintGuide development teams to higher scrum maturityHelp build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on itRequired skills and qualifications

MUST be a US Citizen.MUST have an active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.MUST reside in San Diego County.HIGHLY PREFFERED to have an Active IAT IISecurity clearance is desired or ability to acquire one asap.Proven 5+ years of experience as scrum master or similar roleExperience in a scrum master role.Familiarity with software developmentExcellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)Excellent communication and servant leadership skillsProblem-solving and conflict-resolution abilityOutstanding organizational skillsDegree in Computer Science, Business or similar fieldScrum master certification is a plusPreferred skills and qualifications

Master's degree (or equivalent) in related fieldProfessional certification and or project management certificationSecurity Requirements

Must have an Active DOD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain one.Travel Requirements

Occasional travel possibleIf position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Repeating motions that may include the bending down and up, wrists, hands and/or fingers.Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds .

Salary Range

:

$97,750 USD - $143,750 USD. The annualized pay range referenced is a general guideline. Solvere Technical considers factors such as (but not limited to) the following when determining base pay: scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's related work experience, education/training/certifications, key skills, internal peer equity/external market competitiveness, as well as other business considerations.
