Job Description
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will translate client requirements into technical development, design schemas, and integrate with content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of new technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a great Digital Consumer experience based on a foundation of Shopify.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all website preparation and all site updatesAssist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiativesEnsure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimise the shop for overall efficiency and functionalityAssist with code reviews and pull requestsDiagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementationDefine best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the e-commerce solutionAs Senior specialist, mentor and train Junior/Middle developersQualifications
You have at least 5 years of web development experience;Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise, as well as a general understanding of the admin system;Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed. Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify pluginsIn-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks;Working experience with Docker, Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch or Solr.HTML 5, CSS 3 - would be considered as an advantageWorking knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fieldsGood English, both, written and spokenAny DEV-oriented certification is an advantageAdditional Information
