Senior Data Scientist (Generative Healthcare AI)
Our Healthcare generative AI client is transforming the way healthcare works. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join their team. As a member of the team, you will be at the forefront of generative AI in healthcare, making a significant impact on the lives of patients around the world.
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic partner to assist with Machine Learning (ML) model development, evaluation, and performance Carry out exploratory analysis and data visualization and summarize analysis results. Qualifications (no exceptions)
BA / BS degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Math, Stats, Physics, or Computer Science) with 5+ years of relevant experience,
OR
or PhD degree in a related field with + 2 years of relevant experience. Intermediate to expert-level understanding of statistical concepts and practical experience applying them (in A|B testing, causal inference, Machine Learning (ML), etc.). Worked with 10 TB of data or more without core computing required. Analyzed data to run STARS, HEDIS, HCC, Cost, and Risk Adjustment calculations. Expert-level experience with data analysis in SQL and Python. Expert-level experience with electronic medical record data or clinical databases
(mandatory ). Expert-level experience with healthcare claims data
(mandatory) . Experience working in a cloud-native environment (AWS, GCP, Azure -
mandatory ). Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Nice to Haves
Experience using Polars, Spark SQL. Experience working with Databricks. Willingness to help with data pipeline. Compensation and Benefits
Salary $120,000 - $160,000 Equity (stock options) valued between $25,000 - $100,000. Healthcare, dental, and vision insurance for your entire family. Unlimited vacation and 15+ company holidays per year. Work directly with the founders.
