How Is This Role Important to Our Work?This position leads, creates and manages analysis, planning, logical design, and maintenance of software applications. This position provides subject matter expertise on systems and business processes and interfaces with customers to ensure that business requirements are transferred into accurate technical requirements. This position consults with customers in areas of expertise and consults on complex problem identification and quality assurance issues.

A Day in the Life:Manages the planning process to identify the information needed for complex requests, determines the appropriate data tools, sources, and acquisition method for the information.Conducts in-depth research and analysis of business needs and convert them to technical specification documents for Product Engineering GroupProvides technical expertise in the resolution of service issues in process improvement efforts and participates as a subject matter on medium to large projects.Generates software-based solution to meet user/business needs, documenting the software solution requirements, and communicating the solution through various forms of documentation.Reviews and approves development design to ensure they are following business requirements.Develops testing strategies and plans.Verifies accuracy of the data through accepted procedures.Provides leadership and work direction to Systems Analysts.Mentors' analysts to ensure that the business requirements are satisfied.Nice to Have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.Working Knowledge of Cloud Deployment Concepts (Preferred AWS)Working knowledge of Visio, or other diagraming and visualization software programs (draw.io etc.)Required Skills and Experiences:

5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.Experienced in building data mapping requirements for REST APIs.Working Knowledge of Swagger, OpenAPI Specs, Postman etc and end to end implementation/testing of API's.Skilled to conduct Data analysis using SQL with any RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Teradata etc.)Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power QueryAdvanced collaborative, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop accurate and appropriate communications.Advanced ability to communicate to all levels of management.Advanced research, analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong ability to make decisions based on analysis and business needs.Advanced ability to bring a different perspective to situations and challenge the status quo.Proven ability to work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.

Role Designation:

Hybrid Remote

Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely. Onsite is full-time onsite.
