Hamadeh Educational Services (HES) is seeking a
Technical Support Specialist
to join our team! You will be responsible for the maintenance, operations, and care of the school's technology network working with the HES Technology Department. Working with staff and students, the Technical Support Specialist resolves issues and provides assistance to those experiencing technical, hardware, and software system issues.
Academy Mission:
The Academies mission is to provide their students with a quality education that focuses on a core curriculum and international cultures including the study of language. The academies provide an education of the whole child by integrating different diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds to their college-preparatory program serving families in the Greater Detroit area.
Responsibilities:Install and configure computer systems and applications within the school and/or districtRespond to staff and student inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challengesActively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networksResolve technical issues related to network interruptionsMaintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as the date of completionOrganize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardwareAssist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usageEvaluate system potential through assessing compatibility of new programs with existing programsMaintain system functionality by testing computer componentsRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree within the Informational Technology field preferredMust be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft office softwareKnowledge of the Arabic language preferredMust have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working in culturally diverse settingAbility to work independently and within a team environmentFlexible, open-minded, self-driven team member
