This position is contract to hire.What we're looking for:This position is to provide IT technical support for all approved end-user computer hardware, software and related technologies. Support also includes the scheduling and installation of approved hardware and software to meet organizational needs. The position also requires independent analysis and problem solving as well as great customer service skills.What you will be doing: Configuring and troubleshooting computer systems, PC/Server/Telecom hardware, software, and other computer applicationsInstalling and configuring Customer image on computer systemsEnforce hardware and operating system standardsUpdating the Customer knowledge base with tech tips and brief documentsResponsible for the immediate troubleshooting of urgent technical IssuesResearch, and resolve technical problemsProviding technical support on-site or via remote-access systemsOffer technical support to Customer staff and troubleshoot computer problemsInstall and update company software and hardware as neededAnticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer itemsAchieving computer stem objectives through collecting relevant data, identifying, and evaluating options and suggesting a course of actionTake care of the proper deployment of new OS updates and security patchesFollow up on closed tickets to verify Customer satisfactionHands on support for on Rochester site server and network service requestsOn site asset managementDell, MAC hardware, and support experience desiredStrong Windows Operating XP, Win 7 Win10Microsoft 0365 experienceOSX, iOS and Android, and Intune or (MDM like) experienceWhat you will need to have: Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.5 years of Information Technology experience preferred.Strong customer service skills required.
