We are looking to add an IT Security Analyst to join our Information Technology team. In this role, the IT Security Analyst will be responsible all incident investigation and remediation of alerts received from internal and managed service tools that are in use. The position will also assist in developing policies, procedures and ensuring Coopers Hawk maintains compliance.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for validating security alerts and ensuring appropriate action is taken to mitigateModify or establish internal controls, process and procedures related to IT SecurityTechnical owner for internal EDR tools and primary contact for external MDR toolsDevelop, document, and enforce standards, security procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of on-premises and cloud systems based on industry and platform specific best practicesWork with appropriate Infrastructure, Data and Application teams to ensure detected vulnerabilities are tracked and remediatedReview reports provided by internal security tools and external MDR partner and ensure all concerns are addressed and communicated effectivelyCoordinate education for all staff on cybersecurity risks, policies and proceduresSupport in the development and implementation of processes that align to PCI and frameworks such as NIST and CISManage assigned projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and communicationProvide cybersecurity recommendations on new technologies and/or how to address riskPartner with other team members to understand system requirements, configurations, and offer support for maintenance or enhancement of existing systemsMaintain documentation of assigned technology systems, processes, and componentsResponsible for initial incident response training and coordination within the IT teamParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as requiredProvide on-call support for critical incident responseWhat You'll Need:

3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity5+ years working with Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with vulnerability management and performing vulnerability and penetration testing and remediationStrong understanding of PCI compliance and previous experience ensuring compliance is maintainedExperience with other compliances like CCPA or SOX are a plusExperience with Microsoft security suite of products (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office, Cloud App Security, Azure AD)Experience with application or database management is preferredExperience implementing or supporting security frameworks such as NIST, CIS and Zero TrustExperience with DevSecOps a plusOne or more security certificates preferred (Security+, CISSP, CISA)BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experienceOther Skills/Abilities:Desire to identify and apply new technology as the technology roadmap evolvesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requestsAbility to adapt quickly to change and handle ambiguityAbility to communicate effectively with individuals with differing knowledge levels and technical abilityStrong customer service orientationAbility to plan and implement projects on time and within budgetStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExperience in hospitality, especially restaurants, is considered a plusCertifications in relevant Microsoft, server and security areas are considered plusesWhat Youll Get:
