Senior Visualization Developer

Senior Visualization Developer needed for Nike, Inc. located in Beaverton, OR. Create complex, advanced calculations that address the imperfect nature of NIKE's data which will be crucial in landing concepts in reporting. Aid in prototyping solutions, delivering recommendations and presentations, integrating user feedback, and participating in collaborative work sessions or workshops. Utilize version control with GitHub for managing visualizations, Reviewing and collaborating with development team. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to iterate on the design and implementation of data visualization products. Be a partner to Product Management in gathering user requirements for visualizations. Assist in implementing robust user-centered data visualization and dashboarding solutions that support data-driven decision making. Manage the lifecycle of data visualization products including providing training, measuring adoption, and establishing metrics to monitor adoption and business value. Develop advanced dashboards and reports per business requirements. Enhance and optimizing existing portfolio of dashboards and reports as needed. Address ad-hoc requests for data to support proofs of concept. Write SQL scripts in database to perform data analysis and validation against results on Tableau dashboard. Consult within business groups on data visualization best-practices. Act as the primary point of contact for all Tableau Server maintenance issues. Lead projects from start to end which includes project timelines, development, validation, roll out, and production support. Deliver solutions on quick timelines and managing scope changes that are expected as part of the ever-changing product game plan. Interface with end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs. Work within NIKE's data foundation which includes demand, inventory and supply planning. Automate business intelligence processes. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology and Management and 24 months of experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation.
