Minimum of a two-year college degree or equivalent field experienceIndustry certifications such as CCENT/CCNA, VCP, MCSA/MCSE, CCA, etc.Strong analytical and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPossess inherent troubleshooting skillsDesire to do what it takes to solve technical challengesPractical, hands on technical experience is a mustAdvanced understanding of Microsoft products, virtualization solutions (VMware ideally), Citrix solutions, Symantec backup and protection solutions, third party utilities, local and wide-area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8/8.1)Products and Services:
Network Operating Systems (Windows 2008/2012)Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010 and 2013Microsoft SQL ServerVMware vSphere 5.5 and related technologiesAnti-virus, Anti-spam and Anti-spywareBackup Exec / Systems Recovery ServerThin client technologies (Citrix and RDS) Firewalls, Routers and Managed Switches (Cisco a plus)LAN / WAN / Wireless networking hardware and software technologiesSystems Management Software (HP PSP, Dell OpenManage)
