Qualifications/Requirements
BS/BA in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related fieldMust have at least 5 years of documenting test strategy and creating detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, verification and validation documents and quality test data to ensure all software developed meet the defined requirements prior to the production releaseMust have 3+ years of experience in writing automation scripts and executing themExperience in analyzing bug reports and highlight solutions to help remediateExperience using Tools like: Jira, Confluence, GIT, BitbucketExperience using database query: SQLExperience in utilizing test automation frameworks e.g. JUnit, TestNGSome experience in in programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL, .NET, VBScriptFamiliar with Cloud and Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) conceptsStrong preference for experience working in B2C environmentStrong experience in software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and Test Driven developmentProficient with MS Office suite of products

The Sr. Software Automation Tester will be part of an agile scrum team, and call upon to deliver well-designed, documented, and tested modern software applications that fully meet customer requirements.
Daily Duties:
Assist in the creation, preparation, development and execution of test strategies, test plans and test analysisCollaborate with all stakeholders to define strategies, implementation approaches and provide creative solutions to complex problemsEnsure test cases and automated test scripts are written and tested on timePerform functional, regression, ad-hoc, exploratory, smoke testing, integration testing and any other kind of software testing needed for the application in a timely mannerCreate well-designed, documented, and tested software solutions that meet strict availability, concurrency and low latency requirementsSupport multiple scrum delivery teams with estimation for testing software applicationsEstimate the testing activities accurately to ensure that the production deployments are not impacted by testing schedulesGenerate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysisExecute benchmark, load, stress, and other non-functional testsIdentify test scenarios to automate testing, including critical path, high risk functionality, tests prone to human error, tests that require multiple data sets, tests that take more time to perform manually and tests that are repetitiveDocument test strategy and create detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and quality test data to ensure all software developed meet the defined requirements prior to the production releaseGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
