Overview:
Salesforce Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports Salesforce and Marketing Cloud activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology. The Salesforce architect works closely with IT and business leaders to create alignment between business and IT. The Salesforce architect clarifies strategic intentions, aligns business outcomes, explores implications, impacts, and risks, and addresses stakeholders questions.They design and create deliverables for business leaders that support organizational change toward achieving targeted business outcomes. The Salesforce architect facilitates discussion around the construction of business models, which may include technology, business capabilities, processes, and other key business deliverables. The Salesforce architect helps strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models.Responsibilities:Assesses the disruptive forces impacting the organization and the economic and financial levers that are susceptible within the organization to digital transformation and optimizationServes as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expertGuide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business valueDetails competitive threats and opportunities from digital enterprises that are generally considered outside the traditional realm of competitionAnalyzes the organization's Salesforce strategy and how the organization currently approaches innovation, streamlining/process improvement, and monetization.In coordination with VP, AVP, and manager drive understanding, adoption, and coordination of next-gen Salesforce technologies across the organizationIdentify, evaluate, and prioritize business cases for new business opportunitiesParticipates in the ongoing process to identify and prioritize business processes that can be converted to digital to enhance the customer experience and become a trusted partner in the management and delivery of products and servicesActs as a subject matter expert on the Salesforce suite of products, supporting technologies, and AppExchange providers along with trends in digital solutions and capabilitiesKeeps abreast of emerging CRM technologies and evaluates vendor offerings to determine the best fit for business needsSupport thought leadership to develop viewpoints on digital trendsRecommend innovative and cost-effective solutionsCollaborates with the CIO, VP & AVP to create a strategy for the enterprise to promote the use of data, data services, and technology platforms to establish the scalable Salesforce ecosystemIn coordination with Sr. Leadership is responsible for end-to-end strategy, design, and implementation of the roadmap for the organizations Salesforce and Marketing Cloud suite of productsReview business context for solutions to company challenges as well as define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommend potential options, select the most optimal option, and the developing of a roadmap for the selected solutionDirect the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownershipEffectively mentors other Salesforce professionals to solve complex systems and program problems. Handles extensive research, analysis, definition, and documentation on all facets of the job.Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serving as an active contributor to the Enterpirse's overall knowledge and expertise.Set the strategy for core Salesforce developments in the marketplace and have a strong point of view of opportunity/impact for meeting business goalsImplement overarching Salesforce strategy across all customer/producer segments, moving from offline to onlinePartner with Salesforce Strategy & Operations VP & Marketing AVP Product Owners to manage the project portfolioConnect Salesforce investments to the organizations goals and objectives to achieve positive digital transformationIdentifies and translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectivesCreates the architectural blueprint and establishes best practices that help guide the rest of the technical team on how best to leverage the Salesforce ecosystemAssesses vendors, AppExchange providers, and solutions to determine best-fit for the enterpriseProduces technical documents of systems and architecturesPerforms evaluations of enterprise Salesforce technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for improvementParticipate in applicable governance and project status review meetingsVerify systems and practices are compliant with an internal and external specificationReviews the design of potential solutions to identify design risk, component end-of-life measures, and regulatory issuesAnalyzes the current Salesforce platforms, cloud, and security architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement using digital solutionsCreates and deploys procedures for maintenance and timely update of the Salesforce platform componentsEnsures that solutions comply with the security and quality standards of the enterpriseEngage business and process owners and lead the collaborative planning effort to leverage emerging technologies for addressing strategic organization goalsPromotes the use of the Salesforce platforms across the enterprise to optimize existing processes and identify new business opportunitiesCommunicate development progress and associated business projects and plans to senior leadershipEstablish strong working relationships with senior business, operations, and technology leaders in the capacity of a trusted advisorLeverage cross-functional teams to drive digital, product, and consumer strategiesParticipate in project planning during all phases of the project life cycle as neededMaintain relationships with appropriate technology partners (internal and external) in developing, deploying, and supporting technical solutionsWorks with multiple stakeholders to optimize Salesforce solutions to meet enterprise requirementsCollaborates with multiple stakeholders to integrate Salesforce solutions into existing enterprise tools and systemsProvides technical leadership to multiple teams in a consultative/supporting role, or more strategically helping shape the future of technology and innovation within the companPartner and guide a team of developers and testers through an Agile and DevOps process that includes continuous integration, testing, and delivery.Qualifications:
