Job Description:
We are actively seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in IDMS to join our team. This role will involve working with other team members to support a wide range of applications and data processes, with a focus on financial and manufacturing data.
Key Responsibilities:Provide ongoing maintenance and support for newly added componentsCollaborate with team members to ensure the smooth functioning of mainframe systems and applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to COBOL, IDMS, JCL, CHANGEMAN, CICS, and VSAMContribute to the design and development of mainframe solutionsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project statusRequirements:
Minimum of ten years of experience in the IT services fieldSix or more years of experience working on mainframe projectsSix years of COBOL experienceSix or more years of IDMS experience (preferably with Broadcom)Six years of JCL experienceSix years of CHANGEMAN experienceSix years of CICS experienceSix years of VSAM experiencePreferred:
Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficientlyThis role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and may lead to additional contract opportunities in the future.
