Position Summary Under the direction of Management, Quality Assurance receives and carry out work assignments from management and internal customers.QA inspects and tests Bus duct, Low and Medium voltage Motor Control, Low and Medium voltage Switchgear and will perform these tests if necessary for RESA Power Customers and/or their representatives during witnessed customer inspections. These assignments support shop operations and completing customer orders while ensuring the final product observes the company's and Customer's quality and product standards.Job Responsibilities Plan, execute, and oversee or complete inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product (all equipment manufactured) t to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables. Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, of job.Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines. Assists operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.Interface with shop, engineering, sales, customers and shipping.Record shop discrepancies and shortages.Record engineering discrepancies.Complete all test/inspection documentation.Complete all shipping documentation. Review and store all inspection documentation. Analyze and investigate product complaints as directed or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes as directed.Communicate with Manager or other designee for effective problem resolution and transfer of pertinent information on jobs in process and complete.Work with members of a team to effectively complete work assignment. Receive information from team members and/or leadership regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to effectively complete jobs.Maintain a neat and orderly work area; Observe all company, local, and federal safety rules, location and company best practices, and company policies and procedures.Work nights and weekends as business need dictates.Complete other duties assigned.Required Experience and Qualifications:Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of experience.Knowledge of various safety standards such as OSHA, state, federal, company and/or Customers.Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, OSHA, IEEE and NFPABasic computer skills for data entry, looking up information, and/or creating reports.Able to effectively problem solve. Detail orientated.Able to communicate oral and written communication skills; follow directions-written direction, oral direction, reading work orders and/or specs as assigned; work in a team environment and communicate with team, various departments, and/or Customers as business needs dictate.Who we are!RESA Power is a dynamic, people first organization that prides itself on being the employer of choice in its industry!
