They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.Performs all essential job functions assigned to a Support Services Specialist 1Troubleshoot lighting repairs, identify proper lighting needs, and replacement of bulbsClean and maintain chandelier lighting which requires working on high laddersMaintain exterior through painting of poles, curbs, equipment, parking linesInfrastructure repairs such as door repair, ceiling tile replacement, ATM A/C replacementGrounds maintenance, debris removal, shrubbery and tree trimmingEquipment and furniture repairOther related duties as assignedSKILLSAbility to apply basic fixes to building systemsGood communication and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of hand and power tool; ability to utilize power tools properly and safelyAbility to work with electronic devices such as iPhone, iPad and PCs, to close work orders and/or send pictures of facility issuesMaintain a Valid State Issued Driver's LicensePHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONSMust work indoor and outdoor year-roundRequires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. of equipment and toolsMust work in and around dust, fumes, and odorsMust be able to work in high placesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalent1-year facilities maintenance experience or equivalent construction, handyman experience
