Finance Associate

The Finance Associate is responsible for interacting and providing excellent customer service to the parents of youth enrolled in the YMCA of South Florida's Afterschool programs in Miami Dade County. Their duties include the timely input of registrations, payments into the Y's database system, along with attendance adjustments, ELC and Family Central attendance and reimbursement packets.Essential Functions:Responds to parent calls providing excellent customer service.Enters payments, registrations, financial aid information, and program changes in the database system.Enters adjustments according to the attendance on a weekly basis and update the ELC web attendance page.Prepares the monthly packages for ELC and Family Central.Reports to the Finance Team Manager any discrepancies or irregularities.Researches data and answer customer questions regarding payments.Ensures that Youth Development accounts receivable is under 3% of total income at the end of each month.Reports, collects, and enters any and all NSF’s.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities / Position Requirements :High School Diploma or equivalent required.Knowledge in Microsoft applications and Daxko system preferred.Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to individuals at all levels.Strong organizational skillsBilingual, English and Spanish, a plus.Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Ability to meet deadlines.Position Profile:Outgoing personality, enjoys speaking to people..
