Business Development Representative - Mixed-Use
The Business Development Representative will proactively uncover software and value added services opportunities with property managers on 3rd party property management platforms and within our customer base. This position will identify specific prospect or customer needs in alignment to the value the offering solves. This position will also work cross functionally with Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure prospect and customer has needs addressed.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESResearch, email, and call prospects and/or customers using SFDC database and third-party tools such as Zoominfo and SalesloftExpectation to go above and beyond daily call and email metrics to hit quotaEstablish communication for new value-added services business opportunitiesPersonalize value-based outreach to understand prospect or customer pain points and provide recommendationsGenerate new pipeline by inspiring prospects and/or customers to take the next step in the sales processPartner and strategize directly with a closing Sales Consultant in 1:1 pairingComplete additional tasks as assigned to support the work of the department/companyCarry out all responsibilities in an honest and professional mannerQualify prospects based on the sales process and book meetings with appropriate Sales ConsultantsContinue to work with Sales Consultants to ensure a smooth transition, and a successful sales process through to closed won businessReceive career development enablement to prep for a closing sales roleQUALIFICATIONS9+ months of experience with proven success in a prior BDR roleREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESA commitment to using good judgmentSales or relevant applicable experience a plus, not requiredDesire and commitment to a career in salesHunter Mentality. A self starter who has a desire to learn and grow in the roleDesire to be a part of a team, working with teammates while also having the will to competeInterest in learning and challenging yourselfExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
