Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting a proactive approach to credit management for trade accounts receivable.

The analyst follows established credit policies and procedures to maximize the value and minimize the risk of the portfolio.
·
The analyst interfaces with the credit, leasing and business teams, customers, banks, and legal counsel.
o
Perform bankruptcy and known doubtful analysis.
o
Perform analysis on potential abandoned property accounts make recommendation on next step.
o
Prepare and maintain credit risk assessments and determining the preliminary credit worthiness of prospective customers.
o
Perform the on-going risk analysis for components of the customer account portfolio.
o
Maintain and reconcile back-up and files on all known doubtful and bankrupt accounts (including court filings).
o
Support the establishment of and maintenance of credit policy.
