Job Description

SUMMARY

Provide support for business operations functions and processes, as well as provide project management support for specific targeted initiatives. Support all analytic efforts of the Company’s internal business including, report/ dashboard development and analysis, working with several departments and managing projects. The position also supports business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality and efficiency.

Essential duties and accountabilities

Operation Analyst Level 1

Provide analysis and reports for monthly operations reviews and quarterly division reviewsGenerate portfolio management reports and analysisGenerate ad hoc operational reports for financial budget management, asset management and resource monitoring as well as on different areas of production (e.g. subcontractor performance, direct labor, operations productivity) and present in an Excel formatProvide analysis and implementation support for measuring and monitoring business operations processesSupport annual planning managementProject manage specific short-term projects needing accelerated executionTrack business performance via KPIsWork with personnel in Operations, Finance, & IT to collect data that is used to calculate metricsImplement data collection systems where they don’t currently existUnderstand and manipulate raw dataExplain why trends existPopulate a weekly KPI scorecard in ExcelDevelop and help implement ideas that will improve productionOther duties as assigned.

Operation Analyst Level 2

Manage and implement improvement process in operations.Analyze data models using SPC.ERP systems, application.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Access.Ability to understand sophisticated mathematical models and concepts.Ability to work under pressure, meets deadlines, and maintains focus.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong oral and written communication skills.BS/BA degree in scientific, business or technology related field; or AA degree with equivalent related experience in position.Active working experience (3 + years) as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Consulting desired Manufacturing experience preferred.Proficient self-management and organizational skills.Must communicate with both business and technically oriented resources to meet expectations.Able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends, as needed.

Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting

of items weighing up to (25) twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials.

Moving from place to place within the office; minimum reaching for items above and below desk level.

Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods. ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor, outdoor, office and shop environment; subject to driving from site to site to conduct work; subject to noise from equipment operation

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Standing and walking for extended periods of time, climbing, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer terminal. Able to lift 15 or more pounds.
