ABOUT THE POSITIONWe have an immediate opening for a Regional Software Engineer Lead to join our Applied Technology practice. This is a great opportunity to be able to create solutions that will impact the markets that VHB serves including Transportation, Energy, and Real Estate. We leverage the latest technologies and agile practices to engage our clients in creating innovative software solutions to overcome the ever-increasing complex challenges they are facing. Esri Javascript API /Esri REST API/ArcGIS ProEntity Framework.Net Core/TypeScript/AngularJiraGitPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlans, conducts, and directs large projects to resolve complex technical problems.Leverages Agile Software Development processEstablishes approaches, develops project costs/staffing estimates, coordinates team, recommends technical corrections, and evaluates progress and results.Builds and integrates complex software applications.Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits, and implements highly complex software applications.Develops, designs, and edits original applications, or modifies third-party applications.Develops CI/CD principles, iteratively reviews and modifies CI/CD principles.Develops or oversees the implementation of test plans for complex applications to assure quality.Develops test procedures, manuals and proposes process changes to ensure high quality software application development.May act as technical leader for highly complex software installations that may include on-site client work.Serves as a technical resource for complex problem solving and long-range planning. May specialize in one or more areas of development (e.g., network, operating systems, databases, front end, back end of applications).Directs and monitors the work of less experienced team members. Provides direction and support to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency. Orients and trains team members. Provides input into evaluating performance. May supervise less experienced team members.Performs all job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and VHB policies and procedures.Minimum Qualifications5-7 years required, 8-10 years preferred of software engineering experienceBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent disciplineApplicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.We are VHB!
