Responsible for maintaining corporate payroll records.Maintains payroll master files.Inputs timesheets and processes paychecks.Provides payment and filing of FICA, Federal and State taxes biweekly and monthly.File monthly, quarterly and yearly payroll tax returns in manual and electronic format.Transfer 401 (k) and other benefit information electronically to benefit administrator.Create financial management reports relating to payroll and labor distributions.Responsible for maintenance of accounts payable records.Code and enter data from expense reports and invoices into the system.Edit voucher journals prior to posting.Generate vendor payment and employee expense reimbursement checks.Prepare article reproduction, American Express, telephone reallocation.Maintain and reconcile employee receivables.Maintain and reconcile employee travel advances.File yearly 1099-Miscellaneous forms.Responsible for maintenance of general ledger.Enter and post adjusting journal entries into system.Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger on a periodic basis.Job Requirements
1+ years' experience working in Payroll/AP Department.Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.Experience with government contracting accounting systems, specifically Deltek.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
