Director of Facilities & Infrastructure .In this position, the selected executive candidate will oversee all of Mission Systems brick and mortar infrastructure projects and manage manufacturing and facilities capital execution. They will also be responsible for leading a large multi-site complex team that interfaces between corporate and other sectors.The selected candidate can be resident on-site at one of the following MS facilities: Linthicum, MD, San Diego, CA, or Rolling Meadows, IL.What You Will Get to Do:Oversee all aspects of Facilities Engineering & Building Management - inclusive of strategy development, planning and design for effective space utilization, operational sustainment of all buildings & infrastructure, facilities engineering & project management for capital investments for infrastructure and construction requirements.Ensure full compliance to appropriate building & operational codes for our properties through disciplined processes and vetting of contractors.Coordinate and collaborate with corporate real estate function to ensure timely execution of lease transactions - new, renewals and terminations. Support all real estate portfolio reviews with local and corporate leadership.Ownership and maintenance of all facilities related data and metrics - both financial budgets and operational performance factors. This includes local, sector and corporate measures and data calls.Represent MS in corporate sponsored collaboration meetings and planning events.Provide timely communications to site and sector leadership on facilities issues, planning and project performance.Maintain a strong liaison with the Sector leadership and strategic initiatives to optimize facility utilization for growth and/or adjustments. Develop and provide alternatives for facility strategies for leadership considerations as required for Program or Manufacturing expansions or consolidations.Up to 25% travel to visit other Mission Systems site, to include site in MD, VA, CA, IL, FL, UT, NY.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor Degree and 10+ years of facilities, engineering, programs, business management, operations and/or related experience.Management experience and skills, or other comparable leadership positions, to include management of offsite and matrixed personnel, and employee development.Experience in program management, strategic planning, data and analytics, business management, and capital project execution.Experienced leading diverse functional or program teams driving outcomes and achieving results.Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.Demonstrated success utilizing financial acumen and business acumen to solve complex problems.Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills, as well as presentation skills are required.US Citizenship.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance after starting.Preferred qualifications:Bachelor degree with STEM discipline.Active DoD Secret Clearance.Experience (working knowledge) of building construction methods.Working knowledge of local and state building codes & permitting processes.Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing facilities organizations.Comfortable making recommendations that have broad organizational impacts.Experience managing supplier relationships.Salary Range:
$218,300 - $327,500The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
