Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team, and we empower Datavanters to shape their working environment in a way that suits their needs.What we needWe are hiring responsible, trustworthy individuals to join the Ciox team for a specialized, part-time role as a Chart Retrieval Specialist.Responsibilities:What You Will Do...Following your successful completion of a paid training program, you will be assigned to a support team in your geographic area. Each week, you will receive a list of appointments at local Healthcare Facilities. You will arrive at scheduled times and scan/upload the assigned medical records using Datavant equipment and processes.Datavant pays hourly for the time you spend retrieving charts and for time spent driving between sites. Competitive mileage reimbursements are also available in addition to performance-based merit incentives that offer the chance to earn additional money each week.Most Chart Retrieval Specialists work an average of 20-25 hours each week offering you the chance to balance work with the other priorities in your life. During the busier months (May-September), you may have the opportunity to increase appointments and your hours.Given the nature of this work in a field-based role, new Chart Retrieval Specialists find the most success when they maintain frequent communication with their regional support team. Qualifications:What Helps You Stand Out...High school diploma or GEDBasic computer skills ability to scan documents, save files, rename files, create folders, and upload to secure serversProven track record of punctuality, reliability, quality work, and ability to follow directionsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to troubleshoot and/or overcome technical issues as they ariseHighly dependable - arrive to appointments on time and maintain clear communication with supervisor and Regional TeamBusiness casual attire and a high level of professionalism required at all timesAccess to a high-speed internet connectionPositive attitude and the desire to learn through training (full five-day training program begins upon hire)Availability between 8am-5pm at least three consecutive days per weekMust have reliable personal, insured vehicle. Must have the ability to drive and have a valid driver's license in good-standingBusiness casual attire when onsite or on video calls and a high level of professionalism required at all timeAbility to roll and lift a 45lb equipment case for medical chart retrievals or maneuver a 25lb soft case.Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or requiredAdditional DetailsThis is a part-time role with varied hours. Some weeks may be busier than others based on demand.Datavant will provide paid training and support necessary for you succeed in this role.

Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations. Uber rides and other rideshare services will not be approved for regular commute or in lieu of using a personal vehicle (or where appropriate, traditional public transportation [e.g., bus, train, subway]) for business purposes.Driving is a considerable portion of the position. Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time, while walking is required about 10% of the time. Standing is required over 30% of the time. The sense of touch is required 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. Bending, twisting, and climbing are required, as is far vision, but only for 10% or less of the time. Low levels of lifting (10 pounds or less) are required about 25% of the time, while medium levels (20 to 40 pounds) of lifting and carrying are required less than 5% of the time. High levels (52 pounds) of lifting are required under 2% of the time.Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.
