Job DescriptionWork Schedule: Day: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm Evening: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm Night: 8/10/12 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 pm - 7:30 am Pay: External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,000 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). NO CALL!!!Be part of something remarkableJoin the #1 hospital in Wisconsin and be part of a dynamic, innovative team serving both adult and pediatric patients with fantastic provider relations and mentorships!We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech I (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to: Conduct basic electroencephalograms and evoked potentials as well as observe, learn and assist with more complex electroneurodiagnostic testing. Scan through EEG data and create samples that will be saved for future reference. May perform diagnostic testing procedures like, electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long-term monitoring for epilepsy (LTM), and intensive care unit and continuous EEG monitoring (ICU/EEG).Hear how the work of our neurodiagnostic techs is integral in helping neurologists and neurosurgeons diagnose and treat serious medical conditions of the brain.At UW Health, you will have: An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off and retirement plans. Tuition benefits eligibility - UW Health invests in your professional growth by helping pay for coursework associated with career advancement.Education:Minimum - 1) Eligibility for graduation within the next three months from an approved school of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology OR 2) Two years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist or other clinical certification with similar patient care experience. OR 3) 3) Five years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Seizure Monitor Technician or performing similar work Preferred - Graduate of an approved school in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and in the process of obtaining registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology in Electroencephalography.
