About the job Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech $2775/Weekly Gross: $1305/Week Taxable ($29/hr, $32.63/hr blended), $1470/Week Tax Free Stipends, Up to $600 for Travel Reimbursement Included. 56 cents per mile up to $300 each way. Paid out 2nd pay check and last pay check. Mileage calculated based on permanent address to facility address. $15/hr for Orientation13 weeks7a-530p with 4/10 hour shifts M-F plus on call witCardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology knowledge Attention to detail, high level of accuracy Use of radiologic equipment Extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector Competent at table side scrub in with a Cardiologist on various cath lab procedures Understands the use of an IVUS machine.Solid understanding of English, grammar, and punctuation. Ability to exercise independent judgment on a regular basis. Schedule Notes:7a-530p with 4/10 hour shifts M-F plus on call with 24 hour services.Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and to foster teamwork among fellow staff members. Must have experience in performing a variety of Interventional Radiology (I.R.) procedures, e.g., PICC Line insertions, aortic run-offs, dialysis catheter insertions, percutaneous nephrostomy tube insertions/exchanges, Quintin Catheter procedures, or tunneled Catheter insertions, etcEducation: Minimum two years experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility. Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluoro license and active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required; OR RCIS required. BLS required ACLS required obtained within 90 days of hire ARRT, CA Fluro permit requirements: ARRT, CA Fluro permit, BLS, and ACLS.
