The Brudnick Center for Living is a CMS rated 5-star nursing facility offering short-term rehabilitation, traditional long-term care, and memory care with an outstanding team of professionals who go above-and-beyond each day in the care of our residents.
Position Summary : As a member of our resident-support team, the Resident Service Professional is responsible for providing kind and compassionate care to our residents. Resident Service Professionals are responsible for food preparation wand companionship activities with our residents as guided by Dietary and Nursing leaders. Resident Service Professionals work collaboratively with coworkers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment.
Hours:
6:00am - 2:30pm or 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Schedules:
Full-Time and Part-Time, weekdays + every-other-weekend

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast following our Kosher menu, following diets and texture modifications
Prepare and assist in the serving and clean-up of meals to residents.
Companionship of residents - talking, socializing, activities and transporting.
Alerting nursing staff of any safety or medical-needs concerns immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary and Nursing leaders, as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 & annual flu
Must be available to work some holidays and weekends
Minimum HS Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
Previous food-preparation experience preferred
One to two years' experience working with the elderly desired
Ability to communicate verbally and understand the English language required
Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and squat for prolonged periods of time
Ability to push, pull objects and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance on occasion
Ability to interact effectively with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, the general public and other staff members
