SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for administering advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
* Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state.* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.* Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.* Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state.* PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.* HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date.* Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.
