JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Morning Shift 7:00PM -7:30PM Hours

Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.QUALIFICATIONS

Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCrisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careA graduate of a fully accredited RN nursing programTwo years of current Neuro Trauma/ICU experienceActive unencumbered Kansas RN state licensePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) CertificationNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationRequirements:
