full-time Travel Registered Nurse
to join our team at
Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections Adult Correction Facility
located in
Plymouth,
Minnesota.
Our Centurion Eagles Travel Team is our internal travel team. Eagles work between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient block scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends.Responsibilities:The
Travel Program RN
will work in the city of Minneapolis, per contract needs. The
RN
is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.Qualifications:Minnesota RN license or ability to obtain licenseAt least two (2) years of RN experienceCurrent CPR/BLSCorrections experience not required, but preferredAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
