Compensation : $41.33 - $41.33 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-11875|AH-HHC-3192 Start Date : 10/15/2023 End Date : 10/19/2023 Shift : Night 6:45PM-7:15AM (18:45 - 07:15) Department: Cardiovascular Unit Shift Timings: Night Shift 18:45 - 07:15 Hours 3 days 12 hour shiftRoles & Responsibilities Looking for highly motivated nurses to help with this PCU Heart Failure Unit. You will care for a variety of heart transplant and VAD patients. Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Minimum Qualifications Unit Capacity: 36 Beds Population Served: Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke/Neuro patients, BIPAP overflows Ages of Patients Served :Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include:Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients Required a minimum of 1 year of Experience QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Caridac Telemetry experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
