Documentation System: EPIC Medication System: Pyxis Special Equipment: XI Robots, Mako Robot Ventilator management by Anesthesia & Respiratory Therapy with 24/7 support Dress code: Green hospital laundered scrubs, closed shoes, no artificial nails, facial hair must be covered by beard covers 12 Operating Rooms, Teaching facility, Trauma Level II, 1 circulator/scrub tech per OR, Ancillary assistance provided by ORA's, Floating required to Holding/Same day Surgery QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Ability to read, write and speak English. Well-developed organizational skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Good oral and written communication skills. Able to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently. Able to set and achieve challenging goals. REQUIRED: Two or more years of OR Surgical experience - RN only. One year of circulating and scrub experience. Working knowledge of surgical instrumentation and supplies, prior operating room experience. License/Registration/Certification Active unencumbered RN New York state license BLS/ACLS Certifications - American Heart Association only. No exceptions. Education and Training Associate's Degree from a fully accredited nursing (RN) program Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
