Position Summary:
Spero Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our client's Corporate IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a customer-first mindset, and experience in providing exceptional IT support. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and contractors, ensuring seamless IT operations and contributing to our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:Provide timely and efficient IT support to employees and contractors, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.Configure and deploy applications, manage Intune groups, Active Directory, and Azure groups.Complete new hire IT checklists, deploy laptops, and assist with onboarding processes.Participate in IT projects, contributing to the development and implementation of new IT solutions and services.Contribute to the achievement of yearly IT goals and objectives, focusing on continuous improvement and increased Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Collaborate with team members to identify and implement best practices for IT support and operations.Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a strong background in providing IT support in a corporate environment.In-depth knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Apple iOS and macOS, Android, Linux, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Service NOW, FreshDesk, and other relevant IT software and tools.Experience with IT infrastructure, including Red Hat Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Active Directory.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and contractors at all levels.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting project deadlines.Relevant certifications, such as CER-Information Systems Cyber Security or CER-Cyber Security Infrastructure Technician, are highly desirable.Compensation: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
