Life as a Global Head of Data Governance at City IT:

As a Global Head of Data Governance at City IT,you will play a critical role in elevating the understanding, quality and use of data across the organisation. Currently City have several ERP platforms that are successfully running our business in Europe, North America and Australia.

To enable growth and agility we are evaluating market leading ERP systems to replace and establish a single platform for our global business. The chosen ERP will be supplemented with best-in-class applications and in-house built solutions where there is a need to differentiate.

As the Global Head of Data Governance, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a comprehensive Global data readiness assessment, followed by the execution of an improvement and maintenance plan for the Global ERP replacement program and beyond.

This role involves collaborating with key business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and data architects to define data standards, implement data quality processes, define and implement the migration process, oversee data governance initiatives and ensure our data can be leveraged for insights.

Your Objectives:

Assess the current data readiness landscape at CEF and CES globally with a view to build the long term data readiness strategy for the businessEstablish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across the ERP platform.Develop and implement a data migration strategy that addresses the movement of data from existing live systems to the new ERP platform.Implement processes for cleansing and transforming data to meet the requirements of the ERP system.Define data mapping and integration requirements between existing systems and the ERP platform.Key Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience building and product managing data/information products for medium to large enterprises.Proven experience of leading a Data Readiness program from assessment through to implementation across a large-scale software delivery.Understanding of ETL, data pipeline development and data cleansing with large-scale, complex data-setsExcellent stakeholder management experience, able to bring diverse working groups together effectivelyKnowledge of big data software, data engineering, data science and AI/ML technologies: languages, frameworks, techniques, industry trends, etc.Interview Process:
