Provides comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to adult weight management patients. Conducts lectures to medical students. Provides educational programs to medical and other health professionals through lectures, in-services and group training. Develops nutrition education materials for health professionals. Provides nutrition consultation to health professionals. Conducts nutrition research, publishes articles in peer-reviewed journals, presents nutrition related research and projects at major professional conferences.QualificationsWork requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Masters degree with five years experience in maternal-fetal nutrition or Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition with ten years experience in maternal-fetal nutrition. Registration required as a Registered Dietitian (RD). Work requires advanced level of skill to identify, initiate, design and implement research, projects or programs.
